SailGP 2019 season of sailboat racing: SailGP 2019 was the first season of the international high performance F50 foiling catamaran sailboat races. There were 6 teams that participated in 5 rounds. The overall winner was the yacht from Australia (skippered by Tom Slingsby) with Japan coming in second (skippered by Nathan Outteridge) and China (skippered by Phil Robertson) finishing third.
